is the birthday of civil rights activist and attorney Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher (1924–1995), who began her legal career by applying for admission in the University of Oklahoma law school in order to challenge the state's segregation laws and get her degree. In 2020 – no rush – the school established the Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher Chair in Civil Rights, Race, and Justice in Law.
