Today… at 7:58am, I received a text from the 13yo’s teacher.
Her: Morning! Just to make sure the 13yo will be here, we’re setting up, can’t admit anyone late.
*record scratch*
TF is she talking about, why do I not know, what newsletter attachment was it buried in ugh ugh ugh.
Me: What time is he supposed to be there?
Her: As soon as possible, the very latest we can start is 8:15.
oh no
Me: oh no
School day usually starts by 9:00. I broke speed records. I’m not sure if the boy brushed his teeth or changed his underwear, but he was out the door at 8:05 with instructions to run.
But at least it’s National Pizza Party Day, so we’ve got that going for us.
