Today… it’s Bean Day, Shortbread Day, attack on the Capitol someone’s birthday I don’t know the 12yo and I got the ‘rona.
Damn it.
When I grumbled yesterday about testing, I anticipated the biggest headache would be submitting our results into a buggy website. The website was fine, but in a surprise twist, we’re the buggy ones.
We’re okay. I don’t feel great, but nothing that would’ve alarmed me on an average Thursday in January. Isn’t everyone a little headachy, sniffly, tired or what have you from Thanksgiving to Easter? The 12yo is mostly upset that this means no hanging with friends for a while. The 14yo is negative, and more than prepared to distance himself from us. Been ready. I suspect he’ll be fine.
