Today…
is the start of Transgender Awareness Week. (Right? GLAAD says it starts November 13 every year, no matter what day that falls on – a few other places say it starts Monday.)
is National Kindness Day. I was going to tell you more about Karen Silkwood, found dead on this day in 1974, or Mother Frances Cabrini, beatified on this day in 1938 and the first U.S. citizen to be canonized, but you know what? I’m going to do myself a kindness, and go take a shower instead.
Kinda wish it was still cupcake day.
