I've got sunshine
Today…
is Veterans Day, but those of you with… come si dice “paid time off” knew that.
is the birthday of Abigail Quincy Adams (1744-1818), presidential advisor, and advocate for women’s rights and education. Despite receiving no formal education as a child, she was known for her financial acumen and political insight.
Apropos of nothing, I just want to show you something real quick.
Morning sun coming in my kitchen window. Okay, and…? For the last ~10 years, until we moved in August, we lived in a basement that received almost no natural light. There were no windows in the living room, bathroom or kitchen, and the few in the bedrooms faced a breezeway. I had a whole system of grow lights on timers to replicate a day/night routine, living like a goddamn hothouse tomato.
So that? 🠱 May not seem like much but I barely have the words for how huge it is.
