I'm older and I have more insurance
Today… No time to chat this morning as I’m dashing off into the hinterlands, where I was able to find a vaccine appointment.
So related to absolutely nothing, a quick story from the weekend you might appreciate. Watched “Fried Green Tomatoes” with the 11yo yesterday, and because I know my child, gave her the following content warning first:
“You’re going to ‘ship the two women. Everybody does. You’re going to be mad they don’t wind up together. Everybody is. I agree, I have been here, I cannot rage at it with you for the whole rest of the day.”
As we watched the movie, she said, “Yes, that was a good warning. I can see now why you said it.”
