Bursting with Pride
Today is bookended beautifully for a Monday, with National Strawberry Shortcake Day to start, National Bourbon Day to follow – how soon after may be decided by Supreme Court starting at 10am ET.
Speaking of sugar and all its works, this weekend’s Pride Krispy Treat sale could hardly have gone better. We raised close to $500 for SMYAL, part of the car parade passed by us, we were visited by a scavenger hunt team of saucy middle-aged gay men, people waved and made a big fuss over the tweens, I think it was everything they wanted it to be.
If you still want to participate, happy to have you donate directly to SMYAL, or PayPal me with a note and I’ll send all of our proceeds over together.
Pass it along!
