A woman on a mission
Today…
is Friday Fish Fry Day, just to mock me, I assume, ‘cause I’ve been fixated lately on finding a basket of fish n’ chips. Listen, you know I love you, fried catfish, tilapia, tempura, but I need a plain old piece of fried cod. I don’t even care about the fries that much.
There’s a special place in hell for you
I'm sure they’ve got your number at the door
Oh my God, this song puts me immediately in a dingy bar with a bottle of Miller High Life – with a lime, ‘cause I’m quirky and not like the other girls. I’m getting a little tinnitus just thinking about it, and I’m not mad.

I mentioned a while back that earlier versions of these headlines often pop up in my media database, where I assume the newspaper dropped the first draft into their system, and it’s swept off into the RSS stream before it’s final for publication.
So. Because I am a nerd, it amuses me that Salt Lake Tribune – this reporter in particular, files her stories with headlines so long you couldn’t even tweet them. To wit:
A bill that would require a biological father to pay half of the out-of-pocket pregnancy costs for the woman carrying their unborn child passed unanimously by the Utah Senate
I can only assume they tell her not to write her own headlines...
